Larry Foley grew up in Placentia, near the U.S. Navy base. The American influence on the music in his home was undeniable. He grew up listening to bands mix the jigs and reels with Johnny Be Goode and George Jones. He is s a multiple ECMA nominee and past MIANL award winner. He performs regularly in St. John's where he now lives.
